La Gira
El Pearl Jam Twenty Tour comenzó con un festival de dos días a principios de septiembre en el Alpine Valley Music Theatre de East Troy, Wisconsin. El evento -que Rolling Stone tildó de "épico"-, tuvo teloneros de lujo, como Queens of the Stone Age, The Strokes y Mudhoney, e invitados como Chris Cornell y Neil Young.
Luego hubo una gira de diez días en Canadá y ya comenzaron las fechas de su segunda gira en latinomérica, tour que partió el 3 de noviembre en Sao Paulo, Brasil y tendrá paradas en Río de Janeiro, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Buenos Aires, Lima, San José, Ciudad de Mérico y, por supuesto, Santiago. El concierto en el país se hará el 16 de noviembre en el Estadio Monumental y tendrá a X, banda ícono del punk, como teloneros. Aún quedan entradas disponibles para ese show a través de Ticketmaster.
Aparte de visitar su catálogo y agregar canciones nuevas, como es el caso de Improv y Olé, la banda se ha dado el gusto de hacer covers de bandas como Ramones, MC5, The Stooges y The Who, más versiones de Temple of the Dog.
